Introduction

 

The theme we were given for Poster 2 was to create a movie poster. The guidelines were to apply the principles of color theory, include textual elements (e.g. movie title, director) considering organisational principles of typography and carefully think about the signifier and signified.

In this poster I used the theme of emptiness which was the same as in Poster 1, and because the story was about a speaker missing her dead friend, I decided to make the poster darker. So I took a photo of myself and faded it with a dark sky. 

 

 As you can see in the poster, the face side is gone. I erased the face on purpose because it gives the mood of emptiness, which suits my theme. As for the title at the top, I used two same fonts and a red one behind to make it look more impactful.
